“I Wanted to Avoid Surgery… But What Was Left?”

Anita stared at the ceiling of the hospital hallway, numb after her consultation. The doctor had just recommended surgery to remove her fibroids—again.

“If we don’t operate, you might not conceive,” he said.

But Anita wasn’t convinced. Surgery came with risks: bleeding, recurrence, even scarring that could make conception harder.
She had already tried one operation. And the fibroids came back.

That night, she whispered through tears:

When she started telling friends at church that she wanted to try natural healing, some laughed.

  Key Point:

“Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:26 (KJV)

Faith is not passive.

Some people have built their faith to the level where a single word or prayer brings immediate healing. Others need to act their way into a miracle by following the leading of the Holy Spirit—step by step, method by method.

You’re not less spiritual because you take herbs or change your diet. You’re being obedient. And obedience is often the very thing that unlocks healing.

“Do whatever He tells you.” — John 2:5
Even if what He tells you… is to drink bitter tea or soak your belly in castor oil.

  • Faith without works is incomplete

  • Let the Holy Spirit guide your healing path

  • What works for one may not be what God is asking of you—but your healing is still possible

  • Your obedience matters more than the method
